Wimberley WAG Rescue held its monthly bake sell and it was a resounding success. WAG volunteers baked cookies, cakes, brownies, and all other sorts of delicious sweets to sell. At the booth in front of the community Brookshire Brothers Store the goods were sold, donations were received and WAG information was handed out. As their report states, the bake sale was a big financial success but the need is just as large.

We made $954.00! We so appreciate all of you helping with this bake sale. Our Emancipet bill for last month was $834.00, so the money made definitely makes a difference. We currently have 14 dogs. Some more adoptable then others and one waiting for heart worm treatment.

We like doing the bake sales for money, but we also get to talk to a lot of people about WAG Rescue. There are still people that do not know about us and what we do.

The need is great and the community supports the volunteer effort to help and rescue the stray and unwanted dog in our area.
